1: Johannesburg to Victoria Falls

Depart Johannesburg mid-morning for your flight to Victoria Falls or Livingstone. On arrival be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore the village and local craft markets.

2: Victoria Falls

After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Falls, (Zimbabwe Stays Only), one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the largest falling sheet of water in the world. The mist that rises friom the Falls is locally know as " Mosi Oa Tunya" which translates to the " Smoke that Thunders", Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. If staying on the Zambian side explore the falls at your leisure. Remember to take a rain jacket as you are likely to get wet! In the late afternoon enjoy a relaxing Sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

3: Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park

This morning after breakfast take a road transfer for approx 1hour to the renowned Chobe National Park in Botswana, 100 km west of Victoria Falls. Home to 450 species of birds and the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Accommodation options are either in the park, or at a selection of lodges just outside the park, all located on the banks of the Chobe River.

5: Chobe to Johannesburg

After breakfast you will be picked up from your lodge accommodaton and transferred by road back across the border to Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport in time to meet you return flight to Johannesburg.

4: Chobe National Park

Early morning wake up and breakfast this morning where you will be transferred for 8 mins to Chobe National Park for a full day of animal viewing – hopefully to see the Big 5. The Chobe National Park is World Renowned for its large Elephant population, you will have many exciting opportunities to obtain great photographs of the Elephants in their natural habitat and get up close for amazing viewing as well as spotting Lion, Hyena, Giraffe, Buffalo and Impala. This morning you will experience a morning of game viewing via a relaxing cruise on the Chobe River. This gives you the opportunity to view herds of Hippo’s, Elephant, Nile crocodile and many species of water bird that make the Chobe River their home. Enjoy a relaxing lunch after the cruise and then in the afternoon see the animal kingdom a game drive in an open 4WD vehicle with a ranger. Return to your lodge at the end of a long but rewarding day.
