Uganda gets more gorilla permits


Starting from June 2010 two new gorilla families in Uganda will be able to be visited raising the number of permits to 72 per day.

The Uganda Wildlife Authority have added two new gorilla families to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for tourists begining in June 2010. This brings the number of gorilla families that can be visited up to nine. Uganda now has 72 gorilla permits available daily resulting in Uganda having more daily permits than Rwanda.
