P & S

Dear Siobhan and Team, Thank you for helping us with our first African safari. It is THE best holiday we have ever had and will stay in our hearts forever. The travel went smoothly. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The guides [were] knowledgeable, especially Peter and Stanley from Twiga Tours in Kenya, the food delicious with plenty of vegetarian options and the safari was great. We were fortunate to see the big cats everyday for all the 16 days we were out on safari! Leopards, Lions and Cheetahs… Botswana and the Okavango Delta were personal highlights. Vic falls was magnificent and the Migration in The Maasai Mara was stunning. Visiting Irbaan School there was a touching almost spiritual experience. We will be in touch with the headmaster Mr. Jeremiah. Twiga Tours were very caring and helped us a lot especially when our flights were delayed due to the unfortunate Nairobi Airpoirt Fire. Rahim, went the extra mile to check on us night and day to ensure we were alright. It is much appreciated. We felt looked after and reassured. Last but not least what we loved best about Africa is the amazing wild life, its people, its simplicity. Its beauty touched our soul. Its towns and villages are poor but very clean. The people live with respect and harmony for the animals around them and a truly hakuna matata attitude. We will go back there again..

We are back and had the most wonderful trip with Nomad. We were especially lucky with our driver Zenzo and cook, Thembe, both of whom were amazing with their abilities and professionalism. The first night was hilarious as it was extremely wet windy, and cold, and it was getting dark as Zenzo showed us how to put up and take down our tents! We had to tie ours to a tree to keep it from blowing away!!!!! As you can imagine it could only get better from there- luckily there was plenty of hot showers there which was a bit scarce in other places, so everyone was very happy. Poor Zenzo had to rise to the tourists expectations when we came across a springbok and later a foal caught by the hoof in the fence, which he duly released. 🙂 The meals Thembe provided were unbelievable, and all from a 3 ring gas burner, makes us ashamed to think what we think we must have to turn out amazing meals which she did each night. 🙂 All in all a wonderful experience, and I hope you have done it yourself, and if not – get over there right now and do it!!!

The trip was AWESOME!!!! So happy. Everything ran perfectly. Thanks again for your help. Sunway are a great company and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Sunway (and me) also had good things to say about Swagman. Thanks again!

My sister andI greatly enjoyed our Rainbow Tour with your company July 28th to August 14th 2012. This was due in no small part to our guide, driver, cook and carer – Shandle Ubisi. His most careful driving, good cooking and expert knowledge were greatly appreciated. He was so self-giving and thoughtful. My sister had special dietary needs and he was most attentive and helpful. We would both like to commend him highly. Thank you.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for the most amazing holiday we have ever had. Everything went like clockwork, thank you to your excellent planning. Thompsons were excellent, lodges were fantastic, everything was great. Our favourite parts were Elephant Whispers – with the elephant ride and sunset drinks as well as the interactive talk by the guide – that was very special, and the safaris. We did not get sick of them. The safaris at Chisomo were probably our favorite, as we saw such a variety of animals and got so close to them! Truly amazing!! But we also loved Cape Town, Vic Falls, Botswana etc… We loved them all!!… But we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was a superbly organized holiday. It far exceeded even our expectations. Thank you!!

Everything went off as planned with the trip thank you… The main highlights were witnessing 2 lionesses stalking and bringing down a wildebeest in Nxai Pan N. P. which was amazing and gruesome all at the same time, it took about 1/2 hour for them to kill it but somehow I forced myself to watch as the guide said what a privilege it was to witness such an event… in the middle of the night huge herds of zebra and buffalo stampeded back and forth past our camp chased by a pride of 9 lions… My last highlight was my stay at The Hide, it was the loveliest place with really great people running it… Thank you once again for all your help.

Thank you (Michelle) for helping me organize my trip with Nomad tours. What an adventure it was. Thoroughly enjoyed it….. was a real treat once again. Felt very safe and was looked after very well. And all went to plan. Can truly recommend it, was brillant. Makes you realise how fortunate we are back here in Australia. Thanks to all my photos, the people, countryside and the gorgeous animals will stay with me forever. I went over into Zambia on my last day, to view the Vic Falls from that side; yet another treat. So 5 countries visited by lucky me. Am back at work saving for maybe another visit down the track. Thanks again for your valued part in making my adventure happen.

Thank you for the experience of a lifetime made possible … by your company. We wish to pay tribute to the brilliantly professional, calm expert guides Henry, Ibrahim and Joshua. Over a few short days they became like well loved family friends and cared for us in a superb manner. The safari through Kenya and Tanzania was so enjoyable in itself but made even better by Henry’s wisdom and manners, Ibrahim’s great knowledge and sense of humour and Joshua’s efficiency and jokes. Ask Ibrahim to demonstrate the wildebeest and buffalo noises … these three gentlemen certainly do you great credit. I will be recommending you to everybody I meet who wants the best tour and cultural knowledge of East Africa. Our lives have been enriched by the trip. Cheers

Just a quick note to let you know that the tour in Africa went very well, loved every bit of it and you can definitely recommend it to other travellers looking to experience Africa ‘in the bush’
